Trump, with no evidence, accuses Obama of wiretapping him during the election

If you’re  currently living in America, chances are, you think you live in a reality show right now. Since Trump has taken office in January, an array of mysterious, questionable, and disturbing events have taken place. Starting with the resignation of National Security Advisor,  Michael Flynn to just this morning Trump accusing former, President Barack Obama, with no evidence, of wiretapping the phones in Trump tower during the 2016 election.

For those familiar with American History, Watergate is what should come to mind. In short, in 1972, five men broke into the Democratic National Convention headquarters in a botched operation that would eventually lead to a political scandal and the resignation of the 37th President, Richard Nixon.

In a series of tweets, Trump said that Obama wiretapped him and had no credible evidence. It has long been said however that Trump likes to stir up controversy to deflect the attention off of other negative events. While it was supposed to be a calm weekend, White House officials will now have a busy weekend.
